GETTING STARTED

Before designing your gobo on the computer, you may want to sketch it out with paper and pencil. If you are not confident about your design, we can provide graphic assistance for a fee of $1.00 per minute, billed in 15 minute increments.

CREATE YOUR DESIGN WITH GRAPHICS AND TEXT

TEXT

• Type your words in the text box. Click "Add Text" after each word for maximum flexibility. If you type and place individual words, you can move and size each word individually. Size words using the Scale slider. This can simplify the basic layout.
• Select fonts by clicking on the font names.
• You can change words by using the "Replace Text" button. Simply click on the word to replace. Type a new word or phrase and click "Replace Text".
• Rotate, Scale, Flip or Delete text by clicking the appropriate tool.

GRAPHICS

• Simply click on a graphic to add it to the design. The image will be placed in the center of the circle.
• Click and drag the graphic to your desired location.
• Rotate, Scale, Flip or Delete graphic by clicking the appropriate tool.

NOTE: Metal gobos will require "tabbing" or "bridging" on certain letters and graphics to prevent them from making a hole in the metal; i.e., the letter "O", circles, squares.

Click "Finish"
