Apollo Smart Move

The Smart Move™ by Apollo offers simple multi-direction rotation along with an array of individual gobo movements without the need of a control board. The rotary switches and speed control dial allow the user to easily set the desired effect and its speed.

  • Reversible retaining ring holds one or two "B" size metal or glass gobos.
  • Fits ETC Source Four, Altman Shakespeare, Strand SL
  • Comes with 24v, 600mA AC adaptor
  • Infinitely variable speed from 0 to 21 rpm - bidirectional

Smart Move Jr. fits ETC Source Four Jr. and holds one "S4J" size gobo.

Rosco Gobo Rotators
The Rosco Gobo Rotator accepts "B" size patterns, steel or glass, and is fitted into the iris slot of an ellipsoidal spotlight. These gear driven rotators are available in single or double gobo configurations, and in variable or fixed speeds. Controllers required for variable speed rotators permit independent speed and direction control for each gobo. Control and power is delivered to the unit via 4 pin XLR cable.

Rosco's DMX controlled and addressable Indexing Rotators allow you to stop and start gobo rotation and determine position with precision (and repeatibility) accurate to one-tenth of a percent. A power supply distributes both power and DMX to these daisy-chainable units. The Indexable rotators are compatible with many common PSU's already available, including: Wybron-Forerunner, AC Lighting-Chroma Q, Christie Lites-Color Q, and Rainbow-Mini, Maxi, and Micro.

GAM TwinSpin II
The Gam TwinSpin II is designed to rotate two patterns in opposition. These belt driven rotators are available in 120v and 220v. The variable speed motor can be controlled from almost any dimmer, though the model with built-in speed control knob eliminates the need for a dimmer.

DC/DMX Controller
The Rosco DC/DMX Controller provides power and speed control for the Double Gobo Rotator, Single Gobo Rotator and Animation Motor Units. The controller is engineered to offer remote access of Rosco's effects equipment via DMX 512.

Variable Speed Controller
The Variable Speed Controller is designed to provide power, direction and speed control for Variable Speed Motion Effects units on four independent channel. Speed and direction of the moving effects are controlled using four potentiometers on the front of the unit. Output connections are made via 4-pin XLR receptacles.

MFX Adapter
The MFX Control Adapter is designed for people who prefer non-DMX control for their Motion Effects Units, or Double and Single Gobo Rotators. The adapter receives actual voltage from a dimmer and converts it to a control signal, allowing the motion effect to be controlled directly by a dimmer, without using the DC/DMX Controller.

The MFX Control Adapter will allow for variable speed, forward control only.
